This is the kind of game that makes you think: “I really want to like it and give it a chance” — but it just doesn’t work. The mechanics feel dull for a 2019 release. It has nice, atmospheric music, but the upgrade system is confusing, and there’s no proper jumping. And okay — that kind of thing was forgivable in games like Mass Effect 1 back in 2007, but not here. It’s frustrating that you can’t even jump or climb small ledges unless you unlock specific skills. Like seriously, you need to “upgrade” to perform basic human movements? You end up feeling like you’re learning to walk for hours. Around 30% of the skill tree feels useless, and although it can be fun to fight stronger enemies, the overall combat performance and animations are clunky and outdated. It’s a shame, because you can see the potential — they clearly put effort into worldbuilding and atmosphere — but the result still feels mediocre. In the end, GreedFall could’ve been a great game… but it’s just another “almost” RPG that falls short compared to dozens of better titles.

This game is a hidden gem, reminds me of Disco Elysium, first quest is bit shocking, straight into cyberpbunk, watched in a movie long ago something like that, but all in all if you like good detective, non-linear game and reading a lot - this one i can higlhy recommend

I think this game would have been a huge hit in 2005, maybe... I understand it's an indie production and all that... I tried watching around 15 YouTube videos to figure out what I was doing wrong, but the game just feels underdeveloped. Connecting to other people's bases isn't working, which users mentioned as a problem six or more years ago – it's still not fixed... And then there's the huge topic of mining... Yeah, maybe it's fun to mine in some small office game... But here, you need to mine, mine, and mine... Even if you don't, you still have to use the same teleport, sell, and buy... And about "JUST EXPLORE JUST ENJOY".... Enjoy what? The poor graphics and almost identical pixel worlds? This game should probably be selling for 5 EUR, I guess... I understand they wanted to make it majestic... There were moments when I was starting to enjoy it a bit... But then I spent five or more hours fixing my ship by mining, mining, mining, and fixing things... And then it's the same again, and just when you think, "Wow, this is actually cool," you quickly go back to the same boring routine... As I said, this game as it is now feels 10 years late... I hope one day it will be finished. Not a bad idea, just being honest...
