Pillars of Eternity

Really Really Good!

I just started and am not even out of the caves yet, but this is really really good! I am probably not telling anything new to anyone that has already played this game. But if you haven't it is a very nice call back to Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale. If you haven't played those, :) then go buy them and play them and come and play this one too, before or after the others. It is a treat.

Timberborn

Greatest Beaver Game of all Time!

:) This is a marvelously paced city builder with challenges and nice animations. With challenges and a peaceful vibe in between the droughts. Lots of things to build, lots of things to keep an eye on and grow slow, or grow fast! Really, really a satisfying and enjoyable game to keep your mind active and your plans hatching. In addition, the dev is wonderfully busy and attentive and updates the game at every opportunity! So far on update 6 with 7 just around the corner. It runs well on my dual core AMD at 2.6 ghz and 8 gb of memory. Try it out if you like city builders, you might just love it! :)

RimWorld

This is Perfect!

Beautiful and nicely paced. Simple instructions and gets players up to speed quickly. Nice sense of drama and also of progress as your colony slowly grows. I chose Chillax pace, because I like to build and don't really care too much for the combat. But it is still there in small doses to give a little sense of danger. I am really enjoying this alot. I think this has become my favorite game. :)

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

Best Fallout Ever!

I know all of the Fallout games now, from the originals to 3 and New Vegas and 4, but I think my favorite is the first one I played when I was young. Fallout 3. It is probably nostalgia more than anything. Each of the others have their strong points and 4 is probably the smoothest and the best looking, but there is still something about the feel of Fallout 3 and starting in the nursery in the Vault with your dad. Good times. I play the others too and they are good games, but I always come back to Fallout 3. :)

Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition

Best of the Fallout Games

Great game, intense and very involved and storytelling of the highest level. Good combat and variable difficulty levels. Nice building mechanic and interesting NPC's and Followers. Plus a ton of mods for every taste with varied game items, weather, changes, and additions. Really, really the best of the Fallout series, which is a tall order after the excellence of New Vegas.
