Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Anniversary Edition

LAN & Direct IP stripped from game

This franchise was literally built from the ground up to be the ultimate multiplayer LAN and direct IP game. Unbelievable that GoG would even consider selling it without, let alone removing it themselves. Been waiting for this since the day I joined GoG; no way I'm buying it in this state. An absolute embarrassment.

Surprisingly Entertaining

Simple but engaging gameplay. Graphics/sound are solid, with interesting design and mechanics. Just wish it had a multiplayer option.

Total Annihilation: Commander Pack

Classic RTS

One of the original RTS games that introduced a host of new features including construction and production sequences, waypoints, and build queues at a time when none of those things were to be found anywhere else. GOG version fixes a lot of the bugs on newer OS's, including the sound/music. AI is still representative of the era, but considering this is the core game (no pun intended) and both expansions for just a few bucks, you can't go wrong.

Hot Brass

Disappointing

Sound and music are decent, art style is simple but not bad. Overall the game feels unfinished though, particularly graphically speaking. The levels are just static images, the player character is basically a circle with an icon for the equipped weapon or item. It almost feels like an animated board game vs a computer game. Returned.
