This game has a steep learning curve, but is very rewarding when you hang in there and once you know how to navigate certain enemy engagements. I am looking forward to part two, releasing in about one week from the time of this review.
Now this is a fun little game. Great deal on sale, too. Free range exploration, great progression, little to no frustrations, witty writing and overall enjoyable. Don't expect the game to get too deep, though. It's rather light on the game play mechanics, which is a positive in this case. Think Stellaris, but way more casual.
