Words cannot describe the sheer excitement that I had when I heard the first 3 RE games were going to be re-released on GOG. Without delay, I jumped right into the game, which did start with a few unique bugs... such as not being able to open doors. However a simple re-install fixed all of those issues. Now for the positives! For those of us that have grown up with the game in our youths, rest assured, everything that you appreciated about the game is back in a sharper, faster, and cleaner package to kick start all of those nostalgic feels. Well worth revisiting if you gave it a fraction of a thought. For those that have never played it before. Yeah tank controls, however, they flow well on the pc. Once you shake that little inconvenience off, this game is everything that helped revolutionize gaming and making it what it is today. Top notch story, action packed content, and a well balanced difficulty that will leave you satisfied and then some! Play it!
