Doesn't support more than 1080p, including 1600x1200 or 1920x1200. Black screen after Alt+Tab. Otherwise OK.
Too bad there's no original version of TIM2, because even though TIM3 includes all of TIM2's levels, it has really ugly Windows-like UI.
There is a way to get much better MIDI music in MK2. First, use Google to find GUS MIDI patches, a collection of .pat files. Then, in dosboxMortalKombat2.conf find and change these settings: sbtype=none gus=true gusbase=220 gusirq=7 gusdma=1 ultradir=c:midi in dosboxMortalKombat2_single.conf before mk2 add this line: ultramid -c -m100 -dc:midi Now in "Mortal Kombat 2" directory create MIDI subdirectory (you should see three subdirs: DOSBOX, MIDI and mk2) Copy all *.pat files to "Mortal Kombat 2MIDI" directory. Copy mk2ultramid.ini file to midiultramid.ini overwriting any default configuration file. Run the game. It may take a few seconds longer to start than usual. Press F10 and setup this: SOUND: GRAVIS ULTRASOUND PORT: 220 IRQ: 7 DMA: 1 exit & save.
