Aside from Batman's suit, this is one of the games with the freaking best ambientation I played in quite a while... Most superhero games are disappointing in so many ways, yet I found this one shocking! It's not just dark, it's alive in it's own way! Not mentioning the amazing art, the nicely implemented, progress-changing, small open world and the characters, oh god, hilarious. Not the best game ever, of course, but it deserves the commendations. (You'll need to install the PhysX so the game works...)
This game actually surprised me. The story is kinda unique in a way and the world itself is amazingly immersive. It is clear that the game was clearly cut in content and that it features useless gameplay, such as it's strange open-world and the broken stash system. But truth be told, the gunplay, inventory, plot, mutants and anomalies are AMAZING! If it was more lineal I would say this was one of the best FPS I played.
Who would have guessed the first Far Cry would actually be a monster Sci-Fi shooter? Now the name makes much more sense I guess. Passed on 'Challenging', it keeps up to the name :) As a 2023 player, I can say that this game still has some interesting features. AI is broken for sure, and some levels are stupidly hard but the gunplay is rewarding. It actually requires some aim skills and tricks to break the enemies (I mean it literally). The story is one of the major bullshit I've ever seen. But the game was surprisingly fun!
Who would have imagined that 'lovemaking' was our salvation? Now being serious, game is a 9 out of 10. Only reaching the ending starts with some 'meeh'. Yet, DLCs are a hole other story... oh oooh OH my friend! Beware the chests were loot isn't loaded, game crashing in most of boss fights, impossible quests, losing your Warden's equipment in a Awakening quest cuz 'Why not?' and much, much more! Extras would be good if aren't so rushed and feel empty and nonfunctional... In Steam modding to solve bugs is a bit harder than on GOG, also comes with fewer 'downloadable content' items.
