The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is dead and not immersive as the devs said it would be. The game, in total, has so much potential. The graphics are very nice, yet not next gen, I have to remember that this game was initially going to be released for April last year, which next gen consoles weren't around then. (Graphics, 7/10). The missions are where this game shines. The character dialouges in these missions are great, although there are some dialogue bugs, I can see the level of of care and passion that was put in these missions. (Missions, 9/10). Now, as far as immersion goes, this game looses a lot of points for me here. Bugs aside, the world of Cyberpunk 2077 feels DEAD. Npcs rarely talk, and the promised npc routines throughout the city are barely noticed, infact, MISSED. The npcs I've seen would only walk, eat, barely talk, or crouch (when an on going fight was occuring). That's it. Never have I seen the npcs of Night City walk out of their car, intereact with their enviornment in an immeresed way, talk or interact with one another; only occasionally I would see them interact with one another while on a mission. Walking around Night City feels quiet and lifeless. (Immersion, 2/10). In conclusion, this game is not polished; cars disapearing, dialouge issues, dead city streets, and the list goes on and on. I am sure that CDPR will work on making the game feel more alive, but that won't come for a while now. For me, as of now, I am putting a hold on the game. I will wait until they fix these issues. As a consumer and a fan of CDPR, I will never pre-order any of their games again.
