I came in with low expectations. A lot of professional reviewers blasted this game for obtuse puzzles and no in-game saves. The premise of the game was interesting enough that I tried it anyway. I'm glad that I did. What a little psychotic gem this is. One minute I was doing chores for people to earn GOOD BOY points (Not called that, but still), and the next I was finding some fun way to murder someone. A few of the death scenes alone are worth the price of admission. Most of them tend to be laugh-out-loud over the top. I didn't find the puzzles obtuse at all. If you payed attention you generally had an idea of what to do. There was one puzzle towards the end that was a bit obscure.. but that was about it. WIth that said, not sure the game is worth $20. I picked it up on sale and it was well worth what I payed for it. It's short(ish), has some quirky controls, and is very linear. If that doesn't bother you and you have a sick sense of humor.. Lucius is worth a purchase.
