The GOG version fixes the one issue of the original PC port by adding in the missing hauntings in the second half of the game. The game plays well when using a controller and I've rarely encountered issues with this version. This is easily the best and most convenient way to experience this game, not to mention load times are drastically reduced compared to the console versions. Of the original four Silent Hill games this is usually regarded as the least favorite, however I would still recommend playing it as it will leave you with a memorable horror gaming experience.
