I was expecting this game to be absolutely terrible. So to say that it exceeded my expectations is an understatement. Visually, the characters didn't look the best other than Stolas but the areas were well designed, if a bit bland. The story was basic but good enough to be a driving force. The combat was rather boring but it was greatly helped by the challenges which actually did pose a challenge in a couple of cases. The movement was very nice, you could turn on a dime and it made the platforming not be too repetitive. Finally, the music composer went weirdly hard on this game, there is no reason for a Smurfs game to have this good of a soundtrack. I could genuinely see their target audience really enjoy this, so if you have a child which is under 10, heavily recommended.
