Although it's a bit repetitive, the game is quite fun to play. Simple but sleek design, not complicated mechanics and neither too short, nor too long gameplay. The low budget can be seen in the graphics and "cinematics" but if you don't expect too much you will have 10-12 hours of fun. It's definitely worth to buy when the price is discounted.
I've read many good critics about this game but eventually it seems rather mediocre than good. The graphics is unique I can't argue with that but the gameplay is not so immersive. I went through with little bumps and drawbacks until the first bossfight where I've lost my interest. The difficulty of the monster was based in the well-known scheme: put much more HP in it than what player has. And when I could not beat it in the first (maybe second) try I just gave up. It's boring unfortunately :(
There are a couple of choices where you have to decide how to go further - and you cannot reverse it. This makes the game compelling, a bit more "save frequently" than it should be. Nevertheless if you like its precedessors (including Fallouts) then you definetely have to try Wasteland out.
