Having played many isometric RPGs I can in all honesty say: this is one of the best I have ever played! The world (in this case ship) is really well crafted. The descriptions and visuals can help you paint a vivid picture of how harsh life can be in this world. If you're playing on Underdog difficulty (as the developer intended) you will quickly notice that you're just a little cog in a massive machine. Hope is pretty much lost and people are hanging on for the sake of it. But still: even a little cog as yourself can bring about a turn of events that changes everything. The character building is one of the most intriguing things I have seen for a long time. I would catch myself waking up in the middle of the night with a new idea of feat combinations that I could not wait to try out. Speaking of combinations and choices: I was surprised by how many different outcomes in many of the quests you can have. Sometimes depending on choices a few quests back a new option opens up that I didn't think possible. This game is completely worth your money and time. If the combat is too brutal for your liking, play on Hero difficulty just to experience the amazing feel of the world and the story.
