Gameplay : repetive to bone,meele fight is terriblingly boring when i get my hands on necessary skills i just snapped necks and so on or blast their butts with explosive arrow,and hey our PC is agent who should be skilled in many things instead we need to buy them out from skill tree.In Following i liked riding into zombies turning them into pulp Characters : I didn't found anyone who i would like but i found many who i hate from bottom of my mind{especially those twins who treat u like retard),anyways seems like inteligent bunch died out and only retards survive.From Following i found Mother likeable her motives were simple and i can respect that AI: well all npc got strange suicide tendecies like charging with nail hammer (yes NAIL HAMMER) on big mutated policeman or going near explosives, or simply rush in to zombie horde.Same for Following after maxing standing i just roadkill humans and zombies equally. Weapons well they feel like reskin on 2 basic ones knife and hammer.Guns are so terribly bad at start that human enemies can withstand 3 headshots without helmets. Well i buyed this game cause start was fun but from time perspective i regret buying it.I just stomach myself to finish game and check ending wich was grim and sad but i like because not everything ends as we thought.Recommended for zombie geeks otherwise dont bother urself with this game. 3 stars for nice start poor execution of rest game and ending of following cause ending of basic is lame as can be
I dont regret buying it. Nice looking world,diversity between frozen wastelands and lush forest etc Clunky but not annoying combat(at least i test so far old fashioned meele and bows) Story seems to be consistent without any plotholes so far. Enemies are challenging sometimes even very annoying due their tactic quantity over quality and hey diffrent species of animals or whatever other things are fighting each other wich can be taken as advantage Companions are actually usesfull(i highly recommend u to get C.R.O.N.Y asap if u play on highest difficulties,very usesfull little one) Jetpack good remedy on that blasted mountains and open up new way to run for urs life or tactical advantage(in my case mostly running) Music is okay nothing special yet nothing that would make my ears bleed Main character is likeable(i like his collected nature) Good optimization stable fps no drops.no crashes.
