It isn't anything special, very mediocre by today's standards but hey, play it with mates and it's a good laugh.
This really is a beast of a game: old-school dynamic combat, fast movement, player driven pacing (not a single scripted sequence!), and tons of blood & gore. It's a huge creative effort with its own unique approach to level design; enemy types constantly change and a heavy-metal soundtrack pounds away throughout the game. For those who understand why Doom still is the greatest FPS game but haven't had a chance to play this beast... BUY THIS FRIGGING GAME! Seriously you will love it.
