The game has so many bugs that it is effectively unplayable. Even top of the line PCs with GPUs more than capable of running VR setups will experience graphics crashes for no clear reason whatsoever... that is, if the game lets you run it at all. The quality of the story, quests, etc. can't even remotely be compared to the Witcher 3 in terms of quality. The experiences aren't merely in different leagues -- they are in different UNIVERSES. Maybe, MAYBE with about 6 months more of work this alpha-level bullshit of a game could have been a promising product. As it stands now, though? It will probably spell the undoing of this developer.
This game is truly incredible and gave me many hours of enjoyment. Not only is it, without question, the best Vampire game ever made (so far), it is also one of the best PC RPG games ever made, period! It compares very favorably to such titles as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout (1-4), Skyrim, Dragon Age: Origins, etc. (It is LEAGUES better than Vampyr.) Everything from the story, to the characters, to the music and dialogue, to even Combat (which can be done in either first or third person) is great, even by today's standards. Few things are as fun as sneaking up on your foes and performing stealth kills, or jumping in (sometimes literally), katana in hand, dodging bullets Matrix-style using the Celerity discipline, or head-shoting a bunch of zombies, or making chumps explode by boiling the blood right out of their bodies... This game has a little for everyone and every play-style. It also has great replay value. There are something like 5 different endings, and that's not even taking into account the unique reactions from NPCs depending on your character's class and background. I don't want to spoil too much, but, do yourself a favor -- on the first play-through, be any clan EXPECT for Malkavian. Then try being a Malkavian the second time around. The dialogue will be absolutely hilarious!
Beautifully drawn, with an interesting, branching storyline, engaging and compelling characters, superb voice-acting across the board, and a decent soundtrack. Moral choices and multiple endings truly make for amazing and satisfying gameplay. The only real criticism is the game is a bit on the shorter side -- one you start playing, you'll really get into it and won't be able to put it down until you complete it!
