En Garde!

Fantastic action-adventure game, in the vein of the ubisoft prince of persias

The game is really fun, the dialogue is pretty funny, the combat is really challenging. It's in the same vein as the ubisoft prince of persia games, if you liked them you will very likely like this game too. I will note that the game has had a few bugs for me so far but nothing has been game breaking, and often a simple reload fixed the issue. Graphically the game is absolutely beautiful,I really like the stylised graphics the game goes for. The music is decent, my only complaint is that there's too few tracks in the OST. So, to conclude, great purchase.

Blood & Gold: Caribbean!

A Janksterpiece

Blood and Gold: Caribbean! is what you get when you push an engine unsuited for your needs to its limits (much like M&B:Viking Conquest), and it's magical. The game is really good if you're the type of person who doesn't mind a chuckle or two about graphics, is able to handle quite a few gamebreaking bugs and doesn't mind a few CTDs (highly recommend you DON'T run the game on "don't quit without saving"). You spawn as a horse whn you start the game, but then turn into a ship, the UI is fucking awful and convoluted, and I love every single part of it. So, why then do I look over all these flaws? Well, it's quite simple really. This is the Sid Meier's Pirates! I always wanted and never got. If you like Pirates, you'll feel right at home here. More advance economy mechanics than warband, do shady business for "Suspicious people", assassinate politicians, fight ghost and zombies (yes, really!), get good equipment, become a master corsair, conquer the seas:tm:. Steal enemies' ship and sell them, and get letters of marque. I can't praise enough how similar it is to Pirates!, and the combat is much better than Pirates (yet still fucking jank, but if you played Mount and Blade, again, you'll feel right at home). Highly recommended buy to fans of Warband and Pirates!, but on sale. I can't in good conscience recommend this game as a buy at full price, wait for a sale, since it's still a jankfest. Still, the game, where it lacks polish, reemplish in depth rarely found in other "modern" games.
