Few games manage to combine real-time strategy and first-person combat as seamlessly as Battlezone . you are in command of an entire war effort while keeping you on the front lines. You don’t just give orders—you develop your strategy while fighting on the front line, making every decision feel impactful. One of the game’s biggest strengths is its setting. You get to explore the Solar System, engaging in intense battles across exotics landscapes while uncovering the biggest mystery of the '70s—the secret space war between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. The alternate-history sci-fi storyline is gripping, blending Cold War paranoia with futuristic warfare in a way that still holds up today. The gameplay is ahead of its time, offering deep base-building mechanics, resource management, and fast-paced combat. The ability to seamlessly switch between commanding troops and piloting a hover tank makes for an experience that is as strategic as it is thrilling. More than two decades later, Battlezone remains a must-play for fans of both RTS and FPS games. If you missed it back in the day, now’s the perfect time to rediscover this cult classic!
If you're a fan of turn-based naval warfare with a focus on historical accuracy, Atlantique Fleet is a must-play. This game delivers a deep and rewarding experience, putting you in command of WWII-era warships in tactical battles that require both strategy and patience. The visuals may be simple, but the attention to detail in ship models and combat mechanics makes up for it. Torpedoes require careful aiming, and engagements feel weighty and realistic. The balance between luck and skill keeps every battle tense and exciting. The campaign mode while a bit basic, offers a risk-style map where strategic planning matters as much as individual engagements. The ability to control an entire custom fleet rather than just a single vessel adds depth and replayability. If enjoy methodical naval combat, Atlantique Fleet is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition.
If you’re into space sims, X4: Foundations is an absolute gem. The freedom this game offers is incredible—whether you want to explore the galaxy, build a trading empire, or command the massive fleet you constructed with your industrie, it’s all up to you. The dynamic economy is really satisfying; every trade, every station you build, actually impacts the game world. It feels like you're making a difference in the X universe. One of my favorite things is the fleet management. Commanding a bunch of capital ships, seeing them trade colorfuls slugs at each others in a huge space battle is just epic. Watching your strategy play out as massive ships engage in combat is so rewarding. Plus, the ability to walk around your ships and stations in first-person just adds to the immersion.
lets get this off first the relic bonus are not very intersting. Now regarding the story, quest, secondary quest and caracter they are all better polished tghna the base game. Don't get me wrong i had very good time with the base game, but this is even better!
This is first-person GTA IV with hacking and slow-mo. Why GTA IV? Because the space seems small, you get the same limitation (car clipping when you turn back too fast, series of identical NPC or cars). now there is much better storytelling.
