If you liked Pandemic's Mercenaries, with it's open world destruction and gunplay, as well as Assassin's Creed's vertical and roof platforming this game is for you. !!XBOX CONTROLLER FIX!! - Go to the game folder and edit file InputTemplates.txt - Copy the test under "360 CONTROLLER" - Paste text over the "OTHER CONTROLLER" text. - Now change to lines on the new "OTHER CONTROLLER" text to "NONE" as they appear below: SOLDIER_TURN_LEFT NONE SOLDIER_TURN_RIGHT NONE Copy all the text in this file and paste it over the all the text in the same file located in C:\User\Documents\My Games\The Saboteur\SaveGames\ InputTemplates.txt. This will fix the triggers from spinning your camera and make the controls more responsive.
Loved the first game as a kid and never had thechance to try part 2. It is a good old game that is arcady,, goofy and fun. If you plan to play with a controller look into "Gentleman of the Row" mod. Watch a video and follow along to have it change the ingame control icons from keyboard presses into either xbox or playstation icons. There are other settings you can toggle in the mod, and an option to revert your game to pre-mod conditions.
