Cyberpunk 2077

Glad I never take rides on the Hypetrain

Aside from the issues and most of the problems we all know about the technical performance of the game (of which I had some but only two crashes to desktop in my 85 hours and not a single softlock during the whole game). First few hours were odd, I liked the game and could not stop, but the spike in difficulty on hard was a problem. The last 10 hours were dedicated to clean up all side activities and man, It got the point were all I did, before the final gig, was moving from point A to B, kill 5 o 4 guys and booked it, rinse and repeat. The story seems to be completely planned out for you and you pick how it ends, that´s how I summarized the whole deal. All play styles are viable, that being said, speech checks don't affect the story or outcomes of any quest. Stealth is useful for missions in the open world, but during boss fights, not so much. Melee, Guns (all of them) and Swords, they can be used to make a viable build. Gun play was acceptable, I bit stiff but on mouse and keyboard it felt fine. It helps to have a mouse with high DPI I always play FPS with 3200 DPI, so that made the experience a bit softer around the edges. Driving, physics are odd, bikes can be unstoppable tanks, turning is rough, GPS and MiniMap are the biggest flaw on this regard. The lack of customization was quite the let down, even on PS2 games you could change more stuff than on this game. RPG elements where there, but with an unknown level cap till you hit it, you have to plan your build before you spend those skill points and believe me unless you want to look like and idiot, you will need to invest on Crafting, so you can upgrade or craft your gear and that will cost you 18 points of the technical skill tree, to craft proper gear. To close this up, I care to admit the game was and is fun. I'll say this, there is no perfect game (and again, I’m leaving all the performance/bugs stuff out of this) Cyberpunk did under deliver, but that does not mean the game was bad or not good.
