If you haven't played this game or don't know what the Witcher world is... Shame on you! :) Get this game and play it! You will love it!
This is the professional card game of the century. The best of all, truly. Everytime I play, I'm looking forward to it. It is that great. Try it out! You won't regret it. P.S.: don't worry about the free-to-play aspect. This company respects its players. You can play without money, but I encourage you: if you like the game and like what the people behind it are doing, support them.
The absolute best online card game ever. Beats every other "big names" (Blizzard's Hearthstone, Valve's Artifact, Wizards' MTG) easily by miles!!! You can see some people complaining about the new "Homecoming" version - which made the game much better, removed a bunch of unnecessary things and introduced the great Provision system - and many streamers left this game recently because of shameless MONEY reasons (they think Valve's/ Steam's Artifact will bring them more money and fame). Don't listen to the haters and the crybabies! This game is for serious players! Truly one of my favourite games of all time.
Positive: quality work overall. The voice acting (I have played with English & German language as well) is great, the art direction, models are great, the world has a great atmosphere. Long and detailed story, many options many small things to explore. Great writing, funny moments, even Hearthstone easter egg. Immensive, very, very much. Mostly excellent "Puzzle" card games which are always welcome to train your brain. You'll literally can't stop playing just because you want to know how things turn out. And of course, GWENT the best card game ever :). Your choices have outcomes and not always sunshine and rainbows! Negative: too many "Standard" battles and too easy battles. They feel like doing chores.
This game, the pinnacle of the Heroes series (with HoMM 2 taking the silver medal) is by far one of the best games every created not just in our Solar system, but in the observable Universe. Important Note: this game is being nurtured, patched and even expanded by fan communities STILL TO THIS VERY DAY. You've read it right, the game is almost 20 years old and in 2018 there were fan made expansions of gargantuan proportions. Google it, download those things, too! Hint: Horn of the Abyss... Yes... Pirates! When an old and "outdated" game is played by casual gamers, competitive players, is being patched and gets new content from fans of the game in 2018... If that doesn't tell you something about this game, then nothing will.
