Fun Game But

I enjoyed this game. It went from being a fun little delivery game to something a little deeper. My main issue with it is the heavy handed politics infused in the game. There are quite a few times the character makes obvious political statements leaning a certain way. I don't necessarily mind politics in games but I prefer it to be witty or light. These are obvious and dumb. Religion no like women or minorities, man treat woman bad, gender bad, you minority so you dumb. Just really tired tropes. Other than this it is fun in little sperts but it does get repetative. Style is good. Story is meh, and I did not relate with the main character.

Cyberpunk 2077

PCDR Really Turned it Around

First I did not play this when it first released. I saw/read all the complaints and very public outcry so I stayed away. But after a year of updates and bug fixes I figured it was time to experience Night City. And? I had a great time! There are still small bugs but they are more annoyances, I never ran into anything game breaking and my game never crashed. I didn't have any of the major bugs (T-poses, people walking through walls, police popping up behind you) that I saw when it released. The story is great, but what do you expect from the creators of The Witcher. Keanu Reeves as Jonny is really really cool and adds a unique aspect to the usual Shooter/RPG type game. There is a large skill tree to really compliment your play style. Plenty of factions to interact and do jobs for and so much to see and explore. I would definitely recommend this game now. Oh a negative for me is that your choices don't really affect that much in the game until you get to the end

Martha Is Dead

Maybe wait.

This is a gorgeous game with amazing atmosphere... but probably wait until a patch comes out. I am playing on a 11600K, 3070 ti, and nvme ssd and there are significant frame drops regularly (90+ average to suddenly 40-50), when you are outdoors the terrain that is far away will flash in and out, and worst of all in 2 hours of play I had the game crash twice. Like I said this game has real promise but it needs to be optimized and polished for it to be truly great. And yes, it is rather short, but as someone who plays plenty of horror games it is not unusually short. In fact it is longer than most. That's why it is $30 not $60

Lust from Beyond: M Edition - Demo

More H.R. Giger than Lovecraft

I enjoyed the demo and am interested in the full game. Though I would not call it "Lovecraftian", at least not what this demo offers. This is more influenced by H.R. Giger. If you know about the upcoming game Scorn then you have a good idea as to what you are in for. The art style and graphics are great, voice acting is hit and miss. Sometimes it sounds like they were recorded off a phone. Especially the GF. As the name implies there is going to be plenty of sexual content, though in the demo there is not as much nudity as you might expect.

STAR WARS™ Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II

Gem from my childhood

This was one of my favorite games as a kid. This and its sequel Mysteries of the Sith. My dad bought a 1998 Compaq and her bought me a Star Wars game pack that had this and many other great games in it. I can't believe I can play this on Windows 11 without some serious workarounds. This is in the era where games had live action cutscenes. I absolutely loved them. This was before the prequel trilogy came out and it felt like watching new Star Wars movies. If you like retro shooters, are a fan of Star Wars, or just want to check out a classic 90's computer game I would highly recommend this. Of course my childhood love is influencing my opinion. But hey you get a lightsaber and have lightsaber duels with Sith. Come on who doesn't want that?
