The game is a very good FMV with a crazy and challenging "logic of illogical" puzzle solving in a world where magic is the norm but now is forbid by a tyrant. Not my favorite of the franchise but a very good game.
This was my first Hitman. Replaying it after 20 years hasn't changed my 5 star rating. I consider it unique despite its tech limitations, but it's compensated by its good game design. The story and musicalization do their part too.
Uno de los títulos de acción que mas me ha enganchado tanto por su estilo de juego como por su ambientación. Se viven momentos muy similares a películas de alto voltaje como Heat y los personajes (con sus oscuras historias) van muy bien con el estilo de juego. Me encantó y me gusta rejugarlo.
I've played this game since 2007 and I never get tired replaying it again and again. I love the races as well as the specials like derby and stunt events.
An sci-fi RPG game with action and stealth elements, alternative ways to win and an intelligent story. I like a lot the conspiracy elements in the story, the complexity of the characters and factions, the freedom of choices, the game itself it's have reflections on moral and ethics on society and power without taking any side in left or right wings. The mix of very good playability and story makes this game extremely addictive. The end of this game is free to the decision of the player, that's a good point, but the sequels throws this to the trash and creates a canon, and the worst, they are not at the level of the first game.
Ishar trilogy is one of my favorite RPG series: *Atmosphere: the first best feature of this game, the atmosphere is very immersive with his delicated and well made graphics with those moor and forest landscapes with some ancient-medieval-like villages (the music of Ishar 2 and specially 3 are awesome). *The three games has a unique system of dynamic empathy and relationship between characters: -The hire and expel of a member need a vote between the members of the party -Kill a member who have good empathy with another may cause in a chain of kills between friend/enemy members in the party. -In the course of the game, an aparently good member can be a traitor and run away in the night with your gold, while his fellow partners sleeps. Note: You can't see the interaction between them, you must interpret the background issues viewing the background info: stats, profession, race, etc. *Lot of characters to hire with different features. The bad things may be good for some people (like me) who want some weird unique elements: : *Unintelligible plot: sometimes you don't know exactly what are looking for or what is the target, the game throws you few clues to interpret yourself what is happening. This is for some people a good thing, because pushes your imagination to work in the background story. *Some puzzles are weird and meaningless, and you may finish in a dead end without warning. (The Rhyme of Ishar 2 is one of the most tricky riddles I've see in a game). *In resume: you have very very little detail of the background story and plot. Special recomendations: -Ishar 1: read the Azalghorm Tale in the manual and (for more detail) "The Legend of Ancient Times" in the Ishar 3 manual. Read the chronology in Ishar 3 manual, only the first 45 years. -Ishar 2: read the rhyme in the manual. Read the chronology in Ishar 3 manual, from y.46 to y.62. -Ishar 3: read the Legend and full chronology in the manual. PS: Sorry for my english, it's not my first languaje.
