An overall improvement over the first game, with some really atmospheric levels and and a story that is better delivered. But they did drop the Journalist character and upgrade tree for the tome system. Tradeoffs that deliver a better focussed game that may disapoint some (I liked the Journalist!). The final fight was a bit of disapointment, but as a game it plays better than 1 with lots of cool weapons and monsters to slay.
A fun, insane and surrealist shooter romp into madness. Lots of character, fun weapons to run around having shootouts with mad creatures with. There is a story, but it's not the focus nor is it delivered very well.
