While the puzzles and countless fetch quests got a little boring, the beautiful graphics, sometimes funny dialog and mostly interesting characters made the entire experience fun. A worthy addition to any adventure games fan' library. Story was just ok.
Like everyone here, I have fond memories of playing this game when I was younger. Oh, such fun!!! But the game, like all old polygon based games has not aged well. It looks downright primitive by today's standards, not to say ugly. Rated by what it once was, it deserves 5 stars, but as a game rated by today's standards, it doesn't hold up well at all.
I played and finished all the Prince of Persia games. This game is not as bad as everyone says. I remember playing it when it first came out and it was a fun game, good graphics and gameplay. If you're a fan of the series, you'll like this one as well.
I remember when this game first came out, I was really impressed and had a lot of fun with it. I'm sure the game play is still fun but like all OLD 3D polygon based games, it hasn't aged very well. But if you can stomach the graphics, it's a fun little diversion. Though I'm sure one can find much better games out there.
I think everyone is being too kind to this game. First of all, it's hardly a game. Very little actual gameplay involved. The path finding is also terrible. Plus, I fall asleep every time I try to play it for more than half hour. You want a good story, read a book instead.
I thought the story and graphics were good but I found the main character very unlikable, as well as the rest of the cast. The switch to live actors in some of the story videos didn't seem to fit but most important, the game play is just average. The flashlight gimmick gets old quickly and it become a little on the boring side. Still a good game, don't get me wrong. But it's nothing spectacular.
