People have already extolled this game's virtues, so i'll focus on the biggest problems i had playing for the first time. Don't make the same mistakes I did! First off, the worst part about getting started was the save system, you have to buy or make "savior schnapps" in order to save. I had to look up online how to find Belladonna close to Rattay! Second, i didn't realise i did NOT have to beat Captain Bernard in order to learn master strike. You just need to put on good armour, and fight him like half way to "prove" you're good enough. I wasted hours as an underpowered flower picker. Other than that, online wikis are your friend and make sure to GRAVE ROB! You will miss out on both money and treasure if you don't! I thought there was an honour tracking system that might have conequences, but there's not. You're only punished with a bad reputation if you commit "crimes" and get caught. Rebuilding Pribyslawitz to a point where i was making a modest 700 groschen income cost around 40k! So save up before you start or get ready to wait or fight lots of bandits for money. Also, Warhorse Jenda is the best steed, don't f*ck around on Pebbles for too long.
A bunch of different menus and no idea how to go to the rewards page, there's just a direct button to SPEND keys in reward trees, but to collect the keys you have to click the pop ups mentioning you've gotten a reward i think? Or is it in the sub menus inside the Profile menu? It's an old game and i guess that's why theres so many reward trees, but as a new player it's overwhelming.
