I was still desperately holding on to my Amiga when I first played this game. And even back then it made me nostalgic about the LucasArts adventure games on the Amiga. It's a very good game, despite not quite deserving a place at the top of the table. The music is great, the graphics are great, the puzzles are mostly good and the story is cheesy and wacky at the same time. Well worth a play through, or several play throughs if you enjoy playing point'n'click adventure games more than once, like I do. This is a game I revisit regularly, and will probably continue to do so until my sun sets.
I remember the first time I played this game - the Amiga version, which came on 15 disks! Installable if you had the luxury, but I didn't, so long loading times and swapping disks for me. One of my favourite adventure games ever, possibly in my top 10. You can't really get better games than this for free, unless you're a filthy pirate.
Personally, I think this game is somewhat underrated, but only if you mod it. The camera in the vanilla version really isn't very good, it's much too erratic and rather dizzying. However, with the mods you can get a much better camera mode that actually improves the game quite a bit. Pure fun, and very rewarding.
