Wow GoG, what is the point of releasing a port of a 20 year old game with this kind of price? I normally don't type out reviews like this, but I've been a member here for 12 years and seeing this kind of development grow to new extremes on the site is really disappointing. I understand that to a degree the issue is not entirely in your hands, but there are enough online retailers to host overpriced mid-tier games as it is.

I'd -strongly- recommend this product for people who enjoy dark electronic ambient music. That coupled with the gaming areas which give you a feeling of Tron Legacy coupled with the eerie isolation of 2001 A Space Odyssey. Bad points: This can be pretty demanding on your rig. The play areas are -huge-. My 2011 PC runs Skyrim pretty good on Ultra. Some of the areas in FRACT though can stutter a bit for me. (Works well with Gamebooster) They do have an audio stabilizer option for lower end machines and the performance issues are not too frequent or serious enough to hamper my enjoyment. In the gaming/exploration areas it can be difficult at times to work out what you have to do next. Basically if you come across something you feel you can interact with, right click and see if any kind of interface pops up. A lot of the interfaces in the game world are invisible until you right click and enter 'interactivity mode.' The other part of the game is the studio mode. The developers give you the option to unlock almost everything right away. With just a little bit of experimenting I'm already cranking out the kinds of slow moody electric tunes I have loved listening to for years. These can be saved onto your PC as well as uploaded onto Youtube. There is a lack of documentation with the product itself, but their site has a forum and the devs are easily reachable. TL;DR: I am incredibly addicted to this. It's an electro lovers dream.
