The Lord of the Rings: Gollum™

Seriously?

There are clearly some disillusioned clowns at work here. £42.00 for THIS utter turkey? Gimme a break. Who in their right mind would pay such a sum for this trash? A game that even the developers have admitted it was a car crash resulting in them cancelling further games and completely shutting down their own developer studio. My advice, ignore this drivel, people and go get a real masterpiece like Baldur's Gate III for just six quid more!

Corporate Greed Strikes Again!

First off, be aware that the 1 star I awarded is not for the game itself. This I played back in 2012 and it was (and still is) a great game. And thereby hangs the probem. This re-issue plays and looks almost identical to that version, rendering it (in my opinion) pointless. This is a fine example of the shameless greed that is too often displayed by developers/publishers nowadays and only the truly gullible would fall for it. At the very least, this should have been a free update for owners of the original game, but to charge the inflated price of £50 is a total disgrace! The long-awaited, highly anticipated (and totally new) Cyberpunk 2077 is selling for the same amount, for God's sake!! All I can say is shame on anybody who encourages this corporate greed by purchasing it!

Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak

WARNING: NOT UPDATED TO LATEST VERSION!

A very good game, but for some reason GOG are so far refusing to update the game to the latest version (v1.30), and do not appear to be responding to queries regarding this issue! This poor business behaviour is the reason for the two star review. The game itself is much better than that. There is a responsibility for companies to keep products up to date for customers who have paid for such products and until GOG face this responsibility, I CANNOT recommend any further purchases by prospective buyers.
