DREDGE

Not too deep, not too shallow.

DREDGE is, and always will be, a fishing game first and foremost. Going from island to island, unearthing creatures never deigned to see the light of God and selling them to the Fishmonger for about $45 on average. The artwork, the sound design, the gameplay... it all works in a neat little package where you never approach a new aspect of it, it's always applicable to previous practice. So pretty quickly the game becomes a race to see all the wild stuff you can pull out of the ocean and wave around, and there's a whole lot ot explore. It toes the line between adventure and horror game, but DREDGE is, first and foremost, a fishing game.
