I really like the series. I really wanted to explore the story of Fury. But the first thing that sets me back is the terrible controller input bugs. Basically the default profile that works in previous darksider games doesn't work with this one. At least for GoG anyway. Its constantly interpreting my xbox controller inputs as pc and rapid alternates between them, making control movement very janky. So I tried playing this with mouse + keyboard. Level designs were okay, but my problem is you're dealing with the same stupid puzzles that are more just annoying than stimulating. How many times do I have to figure out how to feed a firebug to activate some gate to move on? I feel like I'd be more productive playing a different game and that's sad. Darksiders 2 was my favoreite on the list and whilte the puzzles weren't exactly brain teasers it felt more zelda-ish than anything. Here, it feels like its trying to be zelda and darksouls x3 for padding. It's annoying. Fury is not likable unfortunately either. Her entire motivation is basically she's bored but really has to answer the council. She's snippy and hates everyone and everything and is known as the whimpiest horsemen. I guess she's fury because she got mad too many times finding the toilet seat was up? I don't get it.
