The art is nice enough but I got bored pretty quickly with the 2 main characters and by chapter 3, I was not at all engaged with the plot, such as it is. The characters are unrelatable and unlikeable and plot is very contrived. Broken Sword, it is not. I have bought a number of adventure games over the years and recent ones I enjoyed and kept are: Elroy and the Aliens Not Another Weekend Voodoo Detective The Excavation of Hob's Barrow Chook & Sosig Darkside Detective (1&2) I stupidly left the game running overnight and now GoG refuse to refund so I am stuck with a game that further weighs down my "Hidden" section.

Great game, I played around 10-12 hours to completion so it's excellent value. Loads of locations and multiple characters to control. Beautiful art and music. Top notch voice acting. Good variety of puzzles, didn't get stuck once, they were a tad on the simple side but I like a story with puzzles rather than heavy, tough puzzles so it suited me fine. I got vibes of The Dig and Runaway (the puzzles were less obtuse than Runaway, much as I love that game!). Most important of all, you can feel the passion of the devs and they didn't fall into any of the typical adventure game traps like timed sequences, mazes or bonkers puzzle solutions! Everything is logical and fair. For me, this game is easily on a par with Chook & Sosig and Voodoo Detective, two recent adventure games I have also very much enjoyed. Two thumbs up!

I played this on Steam when it released and thoroughly enjoyed the entire journey. There were none of the flaws of adventure games - there are no timed sections or twitch gameplay and no puzzles were obscure or ridiculously odd. I didn't need a walkthrough but I did have to think about some of the puzzles for a bit, but nothing too difficult. Exactly how an adventure game should be. The art is beautiful and the characters and voicing are superb. The plot is very good and keeps you engaged throughout. The devs have really put a ton of effort and love into the game. For beginner adventure gamers, this is a must-buy. But it has more than enough for seasoned gamers too. This game should be in everybody's library.

Beautiful game that plays perfectly with no bugs. Absolutely the spiritual successor to Sid Meier's SimGolf but is way more customisable, great terrain-editing tools and superb feedback in-game about happiness etc. I am only 2 hours in but I will be sinking way more time into this game, it's amazing, great job Dev.
