Decades later, Tristram is still one of the greatest themes in gaming history, and it sets the tone for what you will encounter once you begin dungeon crawling. This is atmospheric, old school gaming at its finest. High quality sound design and soundtrack combine to create a tingling of dread and foreboding around every corner. Exploring the Cathedral elicits the same sense of oppressive, near tangible evil as it first did all those years ago. The point and click gameplay is simple, yet still sound. The loot no longer feels as fancy, yet still satisfies the need for rewarding drops. Buy this game, and remember just why you fell in love with this franchise.
