Breath of Fire IV

Kinda Comfy

Getting this out f the way, this isn't a remaster but still looks nice. But I don't think it's meant to be played widescreen. Also all the button prompts are for keyboard and had to remap everything for controller. But for the price it's more than enough that it runs on pc without hassle (there's remasters out ther that basically need mods) I think this toned down how chaotic and weird 3 was and is less difficult and confusing. (BoF3 is really great though) I'd call it a good confort game with enough mechanics, humor and story twists to keep my attention. High;y reccomended to people who like the vibe of Ys and Trails in the Sky.

Ys I

Worthwhile Classic

The unique bump combat is very fast paced and fun. If you played another Ys game (esp Origins) and it made you like the vibes I give this a high recommendation. Ys games are really good at make simple very fun.

Zwei: The Arges Adventure

If You Like Falcom

I bought this after playing the second Zwei because of I read that I should skp. I can kinda see why because the gameplay is less polished and a bit more frustrating . Its a simple acton rpg and kinda like a spoof of the Ys games. But you can often die surprisingly fast for a game where you can only hit an run to survive. No block or dodge. But the 2D graphics are very pretty, Legend of Mana tier. And the localization makes the text fun to read with lovable bratty characters. So I would say its a good recommendation if you have played other games by ths dev already, such as Gurumin, and want a game that costs less.
