Cyberpunk 2077 is awesome. To me, it lived up to all of my expectations. The city is huge and feels lived in, the story and characters are amazing, likeable and make you actually feel something. The gameplay loop is very enjoyable. The core of the game is there and it's beautiful. Yet, there are some things that don't hit the mark. Thankfully, all of these things could be improved with future patches: - Visual bugs and glitches. I have never encountered anything serious, but every few minutes something happens that breaks the immersion. - Weird choices for button mapping. I play on keyboard, but apparently, there is the same issue on PC. The ones that piss me off the most are B to crouch, which is the same button as to skip dialogue, and X to loot, which is the same as selecting your reply in a dialogue. - Inability to remap buttons on a controller (idk if it's possible on PC). - Not very flashed out origins prologue. This one is not bad, and I doubt it will be fixed by patches, which is ok, but I expected a little more gameplay as a street kid/nomad/corpo before you get thrown into the rescue mission. It is already an awesome game, and I enjoy it a lot. Hell, I spent 22 hours in itin just few days and I don't remember the last time I wanted to play a game for this long. And this game has potential, it can become an ever better game with some extra care. CDPR, you are making a masterpiece!
