Quake II

A True Brutal Classic

What can I say. It's Quake 2 baby.

Psychonauts 2

A Truly Great Sequel

Like many, I was ecsatic to hear Double Fine would be releasing a sequel to one of the best puzzle platformers I'd ever played, At the same time, I was nervous that the charm from the original would be lost. Not only am I incredibly happy to find it's well intact, but they've managed to create an equally engaging world true to the first This one's a winner.

Clive Barker's Undying

A True Classic Even Today

I wanted to play this game upon release but didn't have the money. Playing it for the first time all these years later I'm not only thankful I finally did but am amazed at the level of immersion and lore a game from this time managed to weave together. Smooth mechanics, fair balacing of resources, puzzle complexity, and rewards for exploration are just a few of the design elements that make this game sing. I can only hope NIghtdive sees the potential here and breaths new life into another true classic. 10/10 would recommend!

Ion Fury

An Instant Retro Classic

This game felt like playing Duke Nuken for the first time and I cherished every minute. Once again I'm reminded just how much life is left in the Build engine. The hits are extermely satisfying, the thematics in the environments are palpable, and it's snappy as hell. Why can I only rate this 5 stars?!

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

A Rock Solid Good TIme

Challanging when it matters in an otherwise smash-full romp across a unique campaign in the 40k universe. I'm looking forward to playing SM2 and if this is the base it's built on I'm very excited indeed.
