Let's just get this out there: I have played Dragon's Dogma (+Dark Arisen) on the Xbox 360, on Steam and now I've played it on GOG too. I like it enough that I've bought it three times over. Not only that but I played it with 4 accounts on the 360 and 3 accounts on Steam so I could form a party of my own pawns... so I've essentially got a total of 8 characters in this. It is an incredibly entertaining game with awesome gameplay... Admittedly the plot is a bit weak and the NPCs a tad boring in places, but that is minor compared to the combat and exploration (both of which could be said about Dark Souls as easily). The giant monster fights are somewhat reminiscent of the Monster Hunter games, though with proper climbing instead of MH's weird mechanic. The main aspect are the Pawns, obviously. As fully customisable as the player character, with adaptive AI that shifts to match the player's own style and demands... and can be hired out to other players. WARNING: At the moment I'm writing this, there is a pawn hire bug that means all gifts / knowledge / ratings / etc given to hired pawns do not get back to their owner. i.e. There is currently no benefit to your pawns being hired out. The hire process is currently bugged (17/06/2017). It is MEANT to let others give you items, teach your pawns and rate them... ... That little issue aside. This game is awesome. And I just hope it will be patched to fix the glitch soon.
