If you have 1 game to take with you on a desert island, this is the one! Where do i begin? I only have played 100+ hours on GOG's account, but I've been playing this game since it's release in 1999 and even its predecessor before that. Thousands of hours of fun and thrills! What makes this game so awesome is its incredible replaybility. It is very rich and has a nice complexity without ever being complicated. Graphics still have a lot of charm, music is outstanding and overall the atmosphere is quite imersive! The game is at its best with 2 or 3 friends behind the same computer. Grab a pack of brews, some snacks and you'll forge amazing memories with your gaming partners while playing Hereos of Might and Magic III. This game is simply legendary. You're missing out BIG TIME if you've never tried it!
Forget about the "DLC milking strat" complains this game is awesome! If you're into board games in general, just the basic game will keep you entertained for hours upon hours! It doesn't feel limitating or frustrating to play. This game is the epitome of the "easy to learn, hard to master" saying! Atmosphere is great, especially the music (if a bit repetitive at length) and the game is immersive. Talisman is perfect for an evening with a couple of friends and 1 PC only. I strongly recommend!
