This game has beautiful graphics, beautiful music, well-developed characters and rather easy gameplay. Of course, the last one can be for some either advantage or disadvantage. HOWEVER, the best thing in this game is a great, heart-moving storyline. It might be seen as a little melodramatic, but what do you expect after a game where you are supposed to survive as a teenager in medieval France during a war AND a plague while taking care of your little brother? If you were moved by the story told in Baldur's Gate Saga, The Witcher Series or Final Fantasy VII, then this game is for you.
I have just finished my second run of this masterpiece. The story, the characters, the graphics and the attention to details like multiplicity of side quests, weather, NPC banters after finishing some side quest or multiple cultural references like "Koziołek Matołek" in the Land of Thousand Fables or alternate version of real poems. It is very re-playable. You can rerun it and you will still find many things you missed the first time. This is probably the best game ever made.
