Yaga

The game is good

It's a game that plays to its scope, balancing depth and simplicity. The art is very nice and the soundtrack is charming. There is humor and charm to the story and dialogue. Some of the mechanics could have been better explained and it takes a little learning at the beginning, but after that you get the hang of it. There is quite a bit of combat and while there is variety in weapons and special abilities, there are moments where I wished for 1 fewer battle until the next story bit. Despite some shortcomings here and there, the game is pretty polished for what it tries to be. There aren't any significant issues to warn about and for that price it's certainly worth it.

FAR: Lone Sails

A relaxing experience after work.

The game has a really good atmosphere, standing on great sound and visual design. The puzzles are not very challenging, but remain nevertheless engaging, with overall a lot of polish to this simple but effective gameplay. As others have noted the game is short, but for me this is not necessarily a drawback. It could have been a little longer perhaps, but for what it is, it was a very nice experience for my evening after work.

Caravan

An Arabian Adventure

I've gotten past the first chapter and so far have been enjoying the game. The pros: -the writing is nice and it keeps you engaged: I like the subtle world-building through some of the events -art is nice, the game has an atmosphere and is visually consistent -there is a risk-reward cycle that keeps things interesting -failing resets you to last checkpoint which is nice The cons: -I've found some parts of the UI to be a bit confusing - it's not obvious that you can (and should!) click on the icons around you when the caravan is moving to trigger extra encounters. Also I've had some minor issues with resolution and the world map not moving around properly. -there isn't a huge variety in gameplay -no replayability Overall, I think the game is good if this is your cup of tea. It's very zen, calm, something to sink into after a long day.
