The game is good simply because it is from the good Bioware era but man the number of crashes even after all of the fixes can be frustrating.
I played and enjoyed XIII on the PS2 way back in 03 so when it comes to the story and graphics I knew what to expect. Who doesnt love cell shading? The real problem is the controls. Dear lord they are so bad.
I do love the series but I gotta say to prospective buyers to proceed with caution. Why? Well thats because this series is known for being buggy as all hell. Random crashes and random GFX issues to name a few. Mind you I have owned 2033 and Last Light for nearly 10 years and had an urge to replay the them but was reminded why I never actually finished them. For example,I got to chapter 5 of 2033 and got crash after crash after crash without being able to make progress. A few of the crashes straight up froze my PC requiring a hard reset by holding down the power button. So as I said in the title... There is a BUT.
