Sundered®: Eldritch Edition

metroidvania with a lovecraftian twist

this game is pretty to look at with the cel shading and is really fun to play once you get used to the progression and mechanics of it. the lovecraftian aspect slowly creeps into the game and is pretty awesome!

WORLD OF HORROR

a great horror rpg roguelike!

the juni ito-like artwork is great, the cases are weird, the color schemes to pick from are a ton of fun, and it is full of loecraftian horror! definitele fun to play and scratch that itch for a quick game!

Don't Starve

Fun survival challenge!

This game is fun but super difficult! I recently started it over to see how well I could do. I managed to make it to day 11 which is probably the longest I have survived, but I was barely getting going when I encountered a living pine tree from trees I had planted and it killed me! Fun game, love the art style, definitely a learning curve!

Eastward

A great and intriguing action rpg!

The game has beautiful pixel sprite artwork, has unique and fun looking characters, great music, and a very interesting and humorous at times story! I definitely recommend this game!

Chasm

A fun game!

The game's art style, music, and mechanics are super easy to get used to, I am enjoying it a ton. It is pretty cool that they offer a chiptune soundtrack in-game as well! I recommend it for those people who enjoyed Bloodstained, Dead Cells, Metroid, and Castlevania, etc.

Kynseed

This game could become very epic!

I saw this game listed on the store page and checked it out, the first line was all I needed to read to buy it: "Kynseed is a sandbox RPG adventure life sim brought to you by developers who worked on the Fable series for Lionhead Studios." I have played a little bit of it so far, and slowly learning how the game mechanics work. I LOVE the soundtrack, the music is so soothing and relaxing! I am very excited to see where this game goes!

Graveyard Keeper

A Darkly Comic Stardew Valley!

Graveyard Keeper shares a lot of similarities with Stardew Valley, however the game shines with NPC interactions, all the NPC characters in this game have their own nonsensical voices, which remind me of the game, Chulip on the PS2. Your role as the Keeper slowly evolves as you collect more items, expand your home, expand the church and make blocked paths accessible. You collect materials to do this, and money is obtained by burying bodies in the local cemetary. The game seems to hold a TON of content, and you often have to wait until you collect the correct materials or wait until a path is unblocked for you to do more in the game to let you unlock stuff that you couldn't before with NPC quests. If you are a fan of Stardew Valley, you will love this game!
