Granted I am a year late coming to this party - as I only discovered Game of Crone had come out when I saw a post about the newest expansion. Needless to say, I was excited to jump back into Graveyard keeper as I had not touched it in over a year. (And at this point in my life and with wider global events, jumping into a little escapism was very much needed). I was not disappointed. I jumped in on a 'completed' save and thus the learning curve of the new areas/crafting/requirements was not an issue at any point. However, I can see that if I had started with a new play through there may have been some challenges. But nothing a little prioritizing could not get past. I had a very pleasant time with this DLC/expansion, and the added lore to be found if you complete all the added quests and interactions, in my opinion, is well worth it. The progression of Donkey's story was hilarious. The 'special' spots that appear all over the world at a certain point in the progression are really fun to find and add an extra details to already established lore and characters. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has played the series up until this point - with the caveat that for a first go around I would recommend running it through a late game save, not a fresh start.
