I never played much of the original, so I can't rate it for accuracy, but as a game on it's own, it's pretty good. Being an arcade game, it's fairly short and built to eat quarters - avoiding some hits requires splt second reflexes or just knowing it's coming - but if you just want to spend 45 minutes dismembering zombies in a haunted house, it's hard to beat.
