The everpresent thing I find with this game is that it's mediocre, the gameplay is okay, the graphics are fine (the animation on elizabeth is actually incredible on that note) the music is pretty good. But the story of this game and burial at sea sum up everything I despise in a story, the story of this game and it's dlc's are a complete waste of your time, play the originals and steer clear of the shit stain that is unfortunately likely to be the last of an otherwise incredible series.
This review would be a 5 if it weren't for the crashes. It is a 4 based on how good the game and minervas den is, I fortunately didn't experience crashes that bad, initally they were but the more I played it eventualy stopped crashing, didnt stop me from saving like a monkey with a button that gives them food. Point being this is one of the greatest games of all time, if you're looking at reviews for it you probably alreaddy know plenty about bioshock as a series. I can't atest to what your experience will be with crashesa so I suggest grabbing this on steam since I heard there's fixes on that version, didn't get as much leeway on the gog kind.
Played this game a lot as a kid and a lot of what I played was absolute trash, so finally coming back to this gem only to find a great story, a good amount of open world and on insane difficult a genuine challenge was and incredibly fun ride. Give it a go if you played it way back when like me or just wanna give it a try great fun.
