Well, my first review on gog. Here it goes. Just finished the game, so it is all fresh. Because I wanted to play this game, before the second game. Cause it looked fun. If/when it is released. This game has 2 parts or 2 sides that you play. One is the running zombie game, awesome, great atmosphere, grinding (if you like it). If I would rate only that, it would be a 5/5. Then comes along the SP of this game. Well prepare yourself. It has the most shitty and stupid mechanics in there. To give you example. This is a grinding game, collect good loot, make good weapons, farm all the goodies. Fun. Well they are all useless in boss fights. And I mean, real useless. Then comes the stupid scripted cutscenes. Again, if you see a cutscene, prepare to be frustrated. No matter how strong you are, no matter the grind, you will be pushed around all game. Everytime you open a door in a cutscene, you get shit on. Same goes with ladders. You expect great boss fights? Dont. Scripted like hell. See above I just finished it, as you can read. I am frustrated. Not because the game is bad. It is ok. But no satisfaction. You run around all game, hunting end game boss. And you guessed it. When meeting him you let him live. I mean, who the f does that? Total villain btw, no grain of goodness in end game enemy. So if you are like me, playing this before part 2. Prepare yourself for a scripted badly made SP experience. Or it was for me, at least :)
