Doesn't feel at all like an early access game. Gameplay is very polished. Thanks to random events and the wide variety of powerups/modifiers every playthrough is unique. The sound design is great. Music is nice, and pegs, orbs, and attacking all sound very satisfying. It's a great game to sit and play through in an hour/hour-and-a-half after work. Really looking forward to playing this for a long time to come. Also, Fauna sent me!

I haven't played a point-and-click adventure since I was in the third grade. But, I've been on an indie/retro/story-heavy/sci-fi kick lately, and this game fit all those categories, so I bought it. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The voice acting is superb, possibly the best I've ever encountered in a video game; it really immerses you in the story and get's you invested in the characters. The story itself is very well executed, and I say this as a seasoned sci-fi fan. As a game I don't really feel qualified to comment too much on it, other than to say the puzzles varied in difficulty with a few that were pleasantly challenging and a couple almost maddeningly so. I had to search online for some hints to get unstuck a couple times, but bear in mind this is my first point-and-click in many years. Overall, I'd say buy it for the story if you have even a passing interest in science fiction, of which this game is an excellent example.
