Some people here describe problems with the mouse behaviour on Windows. I had this on the original game on Steam too. The reason was another program (in my case the task switcher replacement Vista Switcher) wich had a configuration option to intercept the right mouse button for task switching. After disabling this option the mouse did work well again. This behaviour occured in some other games too (e.g. Dragon Age: Origins). I can not tell so much about the game itself as I stopped playing with the bug and later did not find the time to play it again. But for the beginning I got a good impression.
