more than a decade late to playing any fallout games, and this is everything i was hopeing they would be. also Mods help modernize things up a bit

Fuck anyone who talks shit about this game. Have you ever shown a PC newbie this game with the Framrate higher, texture mods, and some reshade love? 3 people I know have converted to PC with the help of this game. I get it is not the best RTS or space sim..........but It's it's own amazing thing, and a lot of people ignore that for some reason. I'll suck this games dick all day. I fucking love it. I'll literally just have the title screen going with all my random UFOs going in and out of the galaxy, and just watch it to some music and a bowl of weed. This game is something legit special. GOG, needs a way to upload peoples creation libraries though. Other than that........ buy it, look up the very simply visual quality mods, and get creative.
I had the original version of this game for YEARS......and even with it's 30fps cap, and limited material, I played it ENDLESSLY. This game as far as I can tell in my run of the first 3 levels: is exactly that game, but improved graphics and more content....I mean, the new plans alone are just dope as hell. I DO wish there was a bit more to offer on the Settings, as I would like to optimize it a bit more for my particular 4k set up. but really it runs good enough that I just get lost in the game so this is one of the few times I can say I did not notice frames enough for me to care. But yea, this is the good shit here. If you like flying games at all, you should REALLY give this a shot.
(1.06 patched as of me writing this) I'm having a blast, and I actually switch between Mouse and Keyboard when on foot, and a controller when driving, (and I very much enjoy driving in this game), So I do not get what peoples problems with the controls are. I mean, until the analogue haptic feedback Keyboard gets invented, driving with a keyboard is almost always going to suck. Is it missing features? yes. Would I like to see more put in it? Obviously....police chases.....NPCs on motorbikes........less clothes clipping........missing missions...............BUT, when I am just jamming on it, I forget all that and just dig the hell out of it. Granted, the fact I am running it on a 3800x coupled with an RTX 2080 Super, and 64 gb of pretty decent ram out the gate might be helping my experience.....but it has been a fun as hell experience so far, and I am taking my time with it. REALLY looking forward to seeing how they tighten things up over time, and what they end up adding post feedback that perhaps they might not have considered before.
I thought this was Bright memory actually when I bought it because I forgot the name "bright memory".....SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS. DUDE. THIS GAME. it is a bunch of things from games i love, and a few new mechanics. and most of all....IT IS FUN AS HELL. More of this please. best mistaken purchase EVER
I have had a copy of this game installed on every computer I have owned or even been around since it came out . The gameplay still holds up, if not outpaces a lot of newer games. AND THE MOD COMMUNITY gave us basically the unreal tournament version of MUGEN...Everybody vs everyone using any weapon or vehicle anywhere. It is endless, it still looks and runs clean as hell (as long as you do not go OVERLY crazy with mods) and still has servers up in the menu. ANYONE could run this game these days and if you want to REALLY work on that hand -eye coordination blackbelt....this is a great cheap start. Also, you can set up your own servers pretty easy......Just get it!!!
This game pulls you the hell in. The atmosphere, the dialog, and the story ( The Controls and shooting are perfectly fine as well)......SO damn good all together. And worth a few playthroughs
LOL, the timing with the story and real life on this is wild, and even though i don't follow either American political parties ( both sides here SUCK), it's hard to deny the parallels......Just don't take it seriously, and you will have a blast. Has anyone used the term Trump Souls yet? It works for this. Buy this game. It feels great, and with a little Reshade magic, can look pretty damn sweet as well.
The setting, the characters, and the action are all pretty sweet. If it had any other name, it would have been received much more positively . 5 stars from me, I beat this game twice before I even bought it here. If this would have been just a game set in the 60s dealing with an alien invasion, and squad mechanics, I would have down. The Xcom part is not necessary at all, and that's what turns people off before they just enjoy it on it's own.
