Windbound

Repetitive but good

Good music and a good sailing experience, especially in the scenes between maps. The maps are a bit easy and repetitive. The control is cumbersome. Nevertheless the game is unique and nice. I come back from time to time, even though I mostly play it only for something like 90 minutes (27 hours overall).

Surviving Mars: Starter Bundle

One of my favourites

Played it with standard difficulty (100%) and thought it was nice, but not challenging. Then activated a few of the difficulty settings, and now I'm at 500+ hours of gameplay. Also, the Green planet DLC is a must have, since it adds a few terraforming milestones which are very hard to reach. Since the game is open end, I mostly finish when terraforming is completed Finally, the game has a good modding community, and an easy ingame way to install mods, although one needs a paradox account to use that.

Surviving Mars

A very good game with some problems

- Standard difficulty means that the game is just pure boredom -> activate some extra challenges like "Winter is coming", Frequent duststorms and so on The game starts to be difficult with 500% difficulty The Green Mars DLC is absolutely needed, the others are not worth mentioning. The game is open end, but I do mostly try to reach a green mars and be happy with that. There are some good mods, which can easily be installed with the ingame mod manager. The one helping connecting domes is useful, and perhaps those two mods which let you see the design and breakthroughs of your starting region when selecting where to land on the planet.

Darwinia - 10000th Anniversary Edition

Fun to play

I recommend the campaign to start with. Levels start short and easy, taking 10 Minutes to play, but get bigger. The game has a good difficulty level and gives a nice feel of progress.

Botanicula

Short and beautiful

This game lives from its very good sounds and soundtrack. It is rather easy, and can be played through in something like 4 or 5 hours (which I did in a single session). Just loved the atmosphere it created.
